Screening Room

The modern world comes with modern problems and oftentimes it’s easy to feel stressed or overwhelmed.  In that spirit:  Welcome to the Screening Room!  This is where you set all your troubles aside, kick off your shoes, grab a drink, and watch some films.

Below you will find a balanced mix of films on which we lent a hand, films made by friends of ours, and official 918 FILMS productions (just look for the 918 FILMS tag).

GUITAR HOLIDAY

A short clip from director Dennis Conway’s award-winning documentary about Paracho, Mexico, a small town devoted to making some of the finest guitars in the world.  Ryan acted as co-editor.

THE OUTLAW BALLAD OF HARVEY & JUNE

Matt K. Firpo, Ryan’s cousin, directed this short film for his Frame & Sequence class at NYU Film School where he just completed his freshman year.  Definitely worth a look.
